How do I get a project started?
Once you decide you would like to use MrTurbo I will ask you to fill in the online qoatation form
which you can find on this website or on request I can send you one by email.
It's a quite easy non-technical document that provides me with a good outline of the work.
After receiving this I will send you a quotation with an estimated timescale.
Once I receive the quotation signed back I start and in the meanwhile you will
normally be asked for a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total fee.
(See also the "General" section of this FAQ for more information about payments).
Ofcourse, no other medium allows you to present all the information of your business so easily
to your clients who can read your information at their convenience.
A website also provides a source of direct correspondence from them to you!
The benefits of a website are outstanding and that for a reasonable low cost and once your
website is online it cost close to nothing to keep it online 24 hours 7 days a week.
Yes, I will advise you and help you decide how to get started and what would be a good solution
for your business without talking in computer-nerd-language. You receive a suitable business
proposal with a free quotation. You don't need to know anything about computers to have your
own website, MrTurbo will guide you through the process and also give support wherever needed once your website is up and running.
Once finished and approved I will send you your final invoice. When the final payment has been received I
will upload the website to the internet (I do need your FTP account information if you don't use the
hosting services of MrTurbo) or if you prefer I will provide you with a (zipped) copy of your website
which you can download from a location at MrTurbo.nl.
In the following cases you probably have returning cost for keep your website updated and online:
1. If you have a hosting account with MrTurbo there is a yearly returning cost for keeping the website online.
2. The same applies in case you have domain(s) registered by MrTurbo.
3. If you want MrTurbo to make changes to your website.
No, you are not obliged to use any services of MrTurbo once the design and/or webdevelopment has been finished.
You may hire me for make changes, if you want you can make changes yourself or let someone else do it.
If you choose for one of the last two options and if you have a hosting account with MrTurbo
then you can ask for an FTP account which will give you access to your files/website on the server.
Changes made by you or someone else are for your own responsibility. (Of course MrTurbo will help in case of need).
MrTurbo is specialized in well-designed clean-coded websites for small to medium sized companies and personal use.
Most of our clients have a static website but if necessary MrTurbo can also make a database-driven
website for you using a combination of ASP with MySQL database. Depending on your wishes and needs
I will put a plan together that works best for you.
No, I don't make websites entirely built in Flash and neither would I advise my clients a Flash based website.
Making a Flash site is a very time consuming job which in the end means that it will be expensive.
For visitors it can be annoying to have to wait for a flash site to download. Another reason is that
flash website doesn't score very well in the search engines rankings.
This does not mean I don't use Flash in websites. Flash is perfect for make a cool looking eye-catcher
in the website as you can see in the header of MrTurbo's website. It's no problem if you want some flash
features in your site, MrTurbo can make it for you.
Yes, if you need a nice fresh redesign MrTurbo can help you. If you like, I will give you my advice about
how your website can be improved. I would like to hear what parts of your current website you like to see
different and which parts you like. I will then make a document with improvements, a website plan and an
indication of the cost. You can then decide whether or not to hire MrTurbo to do the job.
I can't give you a fair straight answer on this without knowing exactly what you have in mind. The total price of a website depends on a number of factors:
• Webdesign done by MrTurbo or not
• Amount of strategic planning
• Number of pages
• Complexity of the site architecture
• Type of website: 1 static online business card website or a large multiple page database driven website
• The graphic work involved
• Level of interactivity
• Level of programming needed
• Hosting and a domain or not
To get a better idea of what the cost would be for your own website please fill out the free online quotation.
The design proposal is based on the information you have provided in combination with my design experience and the purpose of the website.
Besides good communications I found it also helpful for my clients to give them a question list to help determine the design boundaries
and, if you want, you can have as much creative input in building your website as you want.
Can I add changes after the proposal?
After I have presented the proposal there is always space to make adjustments for you!
I find it very important that the end result is one that my client as well as I can be proud of. Every design project includes 2 revision cycles
and the necessary changes almost always
fit within the quote. In some cases there might be an extra cost depending on the amount of changes and if those changes
reasonably fit within all I communicated about the design. Of course, if there ever is extra cost involved I will always
communicate this with you before getting started so that you don't have any unpleasant surprise.
What if, for any reason, I still don't like the design proposal at all?
Even though I have never had any unpleasant experience
with my clients not liking the design it is good to know that if that happens we together can decide to cancel the project. The following is stated
in the Terms & Conditions of MrTurbo:
If you decides to cancel the project before the project has been completed, I will refund the total payment made by you,
less the value of the number of hours worked on the project at the rate of €65 + TAX per hour. If this value exceeds the
total payment made, you will not be eligible for a refund. Neither will you be eligible for a refund when this value
is less then the non-refundable payment paid upon starting the project.
Cancelling the design project means also that you can not use the design proposal send to you!
You are owner of the designs only once the total project costs have been paid.
As soon as the signed contract and your payment deposit is received MrTurbo first makes a planning and communicate this directly back to you.
An average time for a design is 2 to 3 weeks, depending a bit on the amount of communication, how quickly you communicate back to us
( this is a very important reason why some projects may take a lot longer then the estimate 2 or 3 weeks) and if there are changes
necessary to the design after presentation.
When you are completely happy with your website's design then I can start building the website which takes up around another 2 weeks,
depending on the complexity of the site.
If the planning allows it I can of course speed up this process if for example you need to get a website online within a
shorter period of time but I would not advise to rush the design process because your online business presentation
should be perfect.
If possible MrTurbo will setup a temporarily page online with your business logo and contact information (as soon as there
is a domain pointing to a website location).
Maintenance varies per project and therefore is billed at an hourly rate, unless you buy a Turbo Card. Please contact me with the changes you like
to have and I will give you an indication of the cost a.s.a.p. You can then decide whether or not you like MrTurbo to
go ahead making the chances to your website.
For maintenance I will always advise you to buy a Turbo Card. The benefit of this is that you are able to buy
maintenance time in bulks with an attractive discount and for MrTurbo it saves administration time.
(For more information see the "Service" section of this website).
Yes. The Internet is a global community and I provide MrTurbo's services throughout the world.
I have everything as much as possible digitalized and by using the Internet, email and the telephone,
it is possible to communicate effectively with my clients in any location.
Absolutely! The easiest way is to add me to your Skype list and/or use the MrTurbo Live chat. If you like to call me on my
telephone number that is no problem either. Whether it is for advice, discuss the design or any website related problems/support
feel free to get in touch :-)
How do I get a project started?
The process is the same as when ordering a webdesign and/or website: Once you decide you would like to use MrTurbo I will ask you to fill in the online qoatation form
which you can find on this website or on request I can send you one by email.
It's a quite easy non-technical document that provides me with a good outline of the work. After receiving this I will send you a quotation
with an estimated timescale. Once I receive the quotation signed back I start and in the meanwhile you will normally be asked for
a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total fee. (See also the "General' section of this FAQ for more information about payments).
As soon as the signed contract and your payment deposit is received MrTurbo first makes a planning and communicate this directly back to you.
Average time to present you the logo proposal is 5 workdays. It might take longer if there are a lot of projects.
Depending on the amount of communication and changes after the first design proposal it can take 1 day to 2 or more weeks.
You will receive 2 design proposals.
The design proposal is based on the information you have provided in combination with my design experience.
Besides good communications I found it also helpful for my clients to give them a question list to help determine
the design boundaries and, if you want, you can have as much creative input in making the logo as you want.
After I have presented the proposal there is always space to make adjustments for you! I find it very important
that the end result is one that my client as well as I can be proud of. Necessary changes almost always fit within
the quote. In some cases there might be an extra cost depending on the amount of changes and if those changes
reasonably fit within all we communicated about the design. Of course, if there ever is extra cost involved I
will always communicate this with you before getting started so that you don't have any unpleasant surprise.
If you don't like the proposal and decide to cancel the project before the project has been completed, I will refund the total
payment made by you, less the value of the number of hours worked on the project at the rate of €65 + TAX per hour.
Once you choose a final design and the final payment has been received I will send you your finished logo design,
usually within a week, by email and/or the files will be available for download from a location at MrTurbo's website.
Receiving your logo on a CD is also possible for an extra cost.
You will receive your logo in the following formats:
EPS and/or AI
Print logos are normally delivered in EPS and AI.
JPEG and/or GIF
Web logos are normally delivered in GIF or JPEG format, depending on the design of the logo.
I will make a small, medium, large and extra large version in JPEG/GIF format.
If you want your logo in a specific software application format please notify me before the projects gets started.
Special formats can be created, but I mostly recommend using the above formats for general use.
Print logos require a much higher resolution (300dpi) and need to be saved in certain standard print formats.
Some of the most common and universal print formats for print jobs are TIFF, EPS, and AI (Illustrator).
The print logos that are made by MrTurbo are mostly vector based and therefore can be resized in an application
to any size without quality loss. This format can be used for anything you print: brochures, posters, stickers, businesscards etc.
Web logos are used for be displayed on a screen which require a much lower resolution (amount of pixel density, 72dpi) then Print logos.
The web logos can therefore be much smaller in file size but when scaling you will loose quality because it is not vector based but pixel based.
That is why I will make different sizes from small to extra large. This format can be used for: websites, Word, PowerPoint presentation etc.
If you order a logo by MrTurbo you will receive a print and web version of your logo.
Offset printing press
This technology is based on a technology called lithography - literally, writing with stones.
The image is transferred from the inked plate to a rubber blanket that contacts the sheet.
Digital printing and high speed copying
When I talk about digital printing, I am referring to high-speed laser printing.
Laser printing uses a single source of concentrated light to expose the image on to
photosensitive material located on a drum or belt. Electrically charged toner is attracted
to the image on the drum or belt that has an opposite charge. Finally, the toner particles
are transferred to the paper and fused to it with heat and/or pressure.
MrTurbo almost always uses Digital printing.
When you order businesscards by MrTurbo the Digital printing technology is being used.
Digital printing has the following advantages:
Cost effective
When printing small quantities (1 to 5000 prints) the cost per print is lower then when using Offset printing.
Fast
A copy shop usually has several machines ready to work as soon as you walk through the door.
While with using offset printing there are mostly only a few presses at their disposal so your
project will have to wait in line behind jobs that came in before it.
Consistency
From print to print the colour is always consistent using this process method.
MrTurbo designs logos and businesscards. Besides designing MrTurbo can also arrange for you a set of printed
businesscards and send these to you. MrTurbo is specialized
in designing and building websites. This often requires a nice logo and in some cases businesscards to promote
your business which I am more then happy to make.
CMYK in case of printwork/logo's. If you have specific colours in mind you can either let us know the CMYK values or provide me with a Pantone colour code.
Weblogo's are make in RGB colour format.
Yes, this is used for web logos. I can make for you a transparent GIF file format and/or PNG.
With a transparent GIF the quality is always a bit less on the outside/edges of the logo.
PNG is a nice file format for transparent images but not supported by all browser and also depending on browser versions.
If you do want a transparent logo please notify me at time of ordering.
What is web hosting?
Webhosting is the renting and maintenance of (disk)space on a computer (server) for placing a
website and making it accessible online. To keep the price of webhosting as
low as possible I ask for a yearly fee. See the "Services" page to know more about the
webhosting features and Add-ons.
No, MrTurbo only offers a hosting account in combination with a website built by MrTurbo.
MrTurbo's core business is designing and developing websites. MrTurbo will gladly help you with all aspects of making your website and getting it online,
taking care of the hosting for you but MrTurbo is not a Webhosting company.
No, MrTurbo can be hired for a specific aspect of your website. It is for example possible to hire
MrTurbo only for make a good-looking design after which you or someone else will build and upload
the website to your own space at a hosting company.
Yes, MrTurbo has made a basic package which is very suitable for most of MrTurbo's clients and making it
possible to offer hosting facility for a low price. If you, for whatever reason, need more then the basic
package you can extend the package with Add-on features. See the "Services" page for the available Add-ons and prices.
Yes, that is no problem. MrTurbo can be hired for specific aspect of a website. Only when you want a domain registration and/or hosting
account you need to use it in combination with a website built by MrTurbo.
Yes, MrTurbo makes use of Virtual Domain Webhosting therefore you need to have a domain name to point to your hosting account or
website location to be able to show the website on the world wide web. The domain itself does not need to be registered by MrTurbo.
Yes, when all bills are paid you are owner of the design and html source code.
The hosting- and domain contract is for a minimum of one year.
You can move the website within this contract year but please keep in mind no money will be refunded.
No, you can not access your hosting account by a control panel. MrTurbo takes care of the hosting configurations for you.
When you want changes in your hosting package because for example you like to have an extra emailaddress or an
FTP account to upload files to your website you can contact me and I will reconfigure your account a.s.a.p. to fit your needs.
Windows hosting, MrTurbo uses ASP for its dynamic pages and is momentarily developing more in ASP.NET (Microsoft framework) which
requires Windows hosting. Linux hosting is mostly used by developers using PHP.
It's no problem in case you want to place a PHP script on your website. The (windows)hosting that MrTurbo offers also support PHP scripts.
Yes, but before you place any scripts I would like to be notified about what kind of script you are placing.
I can then quickly respond in case of need.
After you decide you want a hosting account with MrTurbo I will ask you:
1a. If you want any Add-ons with your hosting package? (See also the "Services" page for more information about Add-ons).
1b. What will be your main domain name?
1b. Do you like other domain names to point to your website?
1c. Do you want to transfer existing or register new domain name(s)?
1d. What emailaddress(es), aliases and forwarders do you currently use?
1e. If you already have a website somewhere else I can make a backup of that for you. In that case I will like to receive your username and password of your FTP account.
2. I will send you a hosting contract and if necessary a domain (transfer) contract. After receiving the signed contract back I will setup and configure your hosting account with the necessary email accounts and email you all the information.
3. I will upload the new website made by MrTurbo. With a temporarily domain name provided by me (for example: http://companyname.myturbosite.com) so that you will be able to already see how the websites looks.
4a. If you already have a domain registered and you use email on your domain name:
Then MrTurbo advise you to set an email forwarding for those emails to for example a hotmail address. If you don't know how to do this you can ask your current domain / hosting provider to configure this for you. This is to minimize any risk of loosing email.
4b. If you already have a domain registered somewhere else I will give you the necessary information for update your DNS settings of the domain name. This means pointing the domain to the new website location. As soon as you or your domain provider has changed this it takes 1 to 72 hours to show your new website at your hosting account with MrTurbo.
5. If you have no domain registered yet I will start the process of register your domain(s) and as soon as they are registered I will point the domain to your hosting account.
Your (new) website and your email accounts are now up and running at your Turbo hosting account with MrTurbo!
If you also want to transfer your domain to MrTurbo (whereby you choose MrTurbo as your new Registration agent) there is an extra step to do after this process. (See also the "Domain" section question nr. 4 of this FAQ for more information about domain transfer).
To make sure to minimize the risk of your website being unreachable during the transfer and not miss any emails
I ask you to setup an emailforwarding on your emailaddress(es) to for example a hotmail address. (See also question nr. 9 - 4a above).
No. I do not host adult sites, for a variety of reasons.
Yes, you will receive a quotation and if signed and send back to us this will be the contract as well. By signing this contract and by using, and continuing to use, Mrturbo's services, you agree to our Terms & Conditions and acceptable conduct policies.
If you like to see Mrturbo's Terms & Conditions please email me at: info@mrturbo.nl
Why domain names, what is a domain and what names are registered?
Why
Domain names were invented to make it easy for people to find and remember websites on the internet.
Most computers connected to the Internet are identified by a unique number called an IP address (for example 65.98.8.10).
This is very difficult to remember and belongs to a unique computer (of a hosting company). This would mean that when you
change of hosting company you would get a new IP address and people would not know where to find you anymore.
A domain makes it possible to point to an IP address/Computer and change the IP address if necessary.
What
A domain name consist of a sub-domain (also called top second level domain) + domain extension (also called top level domain).
Domain extensions are: .com (commercial), .net (internet organisations), .org (organisations) but also country specific
domain extensions such as .nl (The Netherlands) or .be (Belgium). Which you want to use is up to you. If your business
is mainly focused on The Netherlands it makes good sense to use .nl but if your region is the whole world you might
consider a .com domain. Of course getting both is even better, making a better chance of being found on the internet.
A sub-domain is the name you are able to choose and by which people can find you. The minimum length of a sub-domain is
2 characters, the maximum 63 characters. You may only use lowercase (a-z), numbers (0-9) and the hyphen character (-).
The sub-domain may never start or end with the hyphen character (-) and you can never use more hyphen character next to each other.
The register of a domain name is done by domain name registrars, on request of the client.
You then have the right to use the name for a period of time (mostly one year) as long as you pay your renewal fee.
You do not automatically have the right to keep the name forever, although in practice as long as you
keep on paying for the name and it does not infringe on somebody's trademark or service mark, it is essentially
yours to do what you want with. MrTurbo also makes use of such a domain name registrar.
With a transfer of your domain name you choose to have your domain name managed by a different domain name register.
All your domain information will stay the same but for the technical support you need to contact your new domain provider.
Your yearly payment will of course also be with the new domain provider.
If you use MrTurbo's services for the transfer you get technical support from me.
Yes, if you already have or want a website by MrTurbo you can apply for domain transfers.
MrTurbo will transfer your domain using its own domain name registrar and provide you with information and support necessary.
1. If you already use email with your domain name (only if this is your main domain name) then I advise you to first forward your email address to another email address (for example to a hotmail address). This to minimize the risk of loosing any emails during the process.
2. If it is your main domain name that you want to transfer then I will like to know what emailaddresses and aliases you momentarily are using so that I can configure your email account at the new location. In case you want to transfer an extra domain it is not possible to have email on this extra domain. Per website / hosting account you can have email accounts only on your main domain name.
3. I will send you a domain contract. After receiving the signed contract back and received the total payment I will start the transfer process.
3. I ask you to notify your current domain provider by email about the domain transfer. It might be that you receive from your current domain provider an email with an Authorisation code. Please forward this email to me so that I am able to transfer your domain.
4. I email you as soon as the domain name has been transferred and pointed to your website.
Your domain has been transferred!
A domain transfer cost the same as ordering a new domain. (For prices see the "Services" page).
No, it is no problem to keep an existing domain or register a new domain using another's company services. If you have your website hosted by
MrTurbo you will receive all the information necessary to connect/point the domain to your hosting account / website.
In that case you (or your domain name registrar) need to update the DNS settings for your domain name. MrTurbo will provide you the DNS server information. For more information about DNS server information see the question below.
Before a domain name can be used for a website, information needs to be supplied explaining how to link the domain name with the IP address (unique identity of a computer) of the website.
The Domain Name Servers take care of this linking or association process. They essentially translate your domain name from a string of text into a series of numbers that a computer can understand.
Every time you change IP address (this happens most frequently when you change web hosting provider, but there can be other cases in which you need to change IP address) you need to change the DNS information for your domain name.
Each domain name generally has 2 DNS servers associated with it, the Primary and Secondary DNS servers. Sometimes, additional Secondary servers can also be associated with a domain name for additional reliability. When a domain lookup is carried out, the Primary DNS server is consulted first, and then the Secondary server or servers.
A DNS entry will look something like this:
Primary DNS: ns.nameserver.com
Secondary DNS: ns2.nameserver.com
It's important to remember that DNS settings take TIME to propagate whenever you make a change. The changes you make are reflected at the Root Server level either once or twice daily (depending on the Registrar) and then they gradually "fan out" across the Internet (the process is automatic!)
In other words, even though you change the DNS on a domain name, it can take at least 48 hours and in some cases as long as 72 hours or more before EVERYONE on the Internet gets to see the new DNS record associated with your domain namem(and hence find the site it is linked to)
This means that if you change web hosts and change your DNS settings at the same time, you will see your traffic drop almost to zero for the first 24 hours, and then recover to about 50-60% of its normal level after 48 hours before gradually coming back to normal over the following days.
This propagation delay is generally out of your Registrar's hands - it's essentially a function of the DNS system itself - so angry emails to tech support won't help. The only cure for DNS resolution problems once you've made a change (as long as you're sure the change has been recorded by your Registrar) is to wait until the change filters through to all corners of the Internet.
You yearly need to pay for your domain name. When the end of the registration year comes close you will get a request by
Mr Turbo to pay for your domain registration(s) for the coming year (around 6 weeks before the renewal date).
If you don't pay you have the risk that your domain will get available for other people to register that domain name and become owner.
After I receive your payment of the new domain name I will start the registration at the domain name registrar.
From that point, if there are no complications, the domain can be active within 72 hours. Please be aware that the
total process of ordering, register and connecting your domain to your website can take 1 to 2 weeks and sometimes
even more! So if you need to have your website online on a certain date please let me know a.s.a.p. because Mr Turbo can not speed up this process!
No, you can not make a reservation on a domain name. After your payment I start the registration process.
Only when I confirm you that you are the owner of the domain name you can be sure nobody else will able to register it.
Your domain name is registered on your name or the domain name is still available for anyone who wants to register it,
there's nothing in between.
No, if you have your domain registered by Mr Turbo it is most unlikely to be contacted other then MrTurbo!
If you receive a (suspicious) email relating to your domain name then please get in touch with me by forwarding
the email to info@mrturbo.nl or get a hold on me on the MrTurbo chat.
Yes, but there need to be one main domain name to setup your hosting account.
What is a POP3 email account?
POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3) is a protocol that is being used for downloading emails from a
mail server to your computer. With a POP3 email account all the emails that are sent to your
email address will be saved on the mail server until you login on the server and download your emails by using for example Outlook.
MrTurbo offers POP3 email account with its Turbo hosting package.
When you order a hosting package from MrTurbo you will receive an email with your
POP3 email account login information and a PowerPoint presentation of how to setup Outlook.
Yes, you can order as much POP3 email accounts as necessary.
Standard you will receive 1 POP3 email account with your hosting package.
To have more POP3 email accounts you can order this as an Add-on.
(See also the "Services" page for more information and prices).
An email alias is a virtual email account which makes it possible to use emailaddresses
that don't really exist. The emails that are being send to an email alias will be forwarded
to another real (POP3) email address. You can have as many email aliases as you like.
(See also the "Services" page on this website for more information and prices).
Your mailbox on the mail server has a maximum amount of 10 MB (including attachments).
As soon as you download your email with for example outlook your mailbox on the mail server will be emptied.
If your mailbox is empty and someone wants to send you an email with an attachment of 11 MB then the
email can't be send and the person sending the email will be notified by this.
With the Webmail service you can access your mailbox on the mailserver by using your browser, Internet Explorer for example.
You can read, reply, forward and delete the emails online. This is very handy when you are for example on
vacation and you don't have access to your own computer or laptop. This way you can check and answer your
email anywhere in the world as long as you have access to the internet!
When you order a Turbo hosting account from MrTurbo you will receive an email with your Webmail login information.
In case you are on vacation and you forgot your login information you can always request them by chat or email.
What is the payment plan for a project?
Design
If for example you only want a webdesign without having it build I will ask a non-refundable deposit
of 25% and after the design is approved and completed the remaining 75% before the design will be released to you.
Web Design + Webbuilding or Logo Design + Businesscards
Before I start a new project I will normally ask for a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total fee.
Depending on the project it might be that I ask 25% after the design is completed and approved and the
remaining 50% will be asked when the website is completed and approved, but before I release the
coding and design to you or upload it on your behalf. As soon as the final payment is received your
site will be released to you or put online.
Hosting and domain registration
After the total payment is received I will setup your hosting and/or transfer/order your domain(s).
Hosting, domain registration and Hosting Add-ons are a yearly returning fee that has to be paid up front and is non-refundable. 6 weeks before the renewal date you will receive a new bill for the coming year.
Turbo fast jobs
For Turbo fast jobs there is an addition cost of 50% over the standard fee and a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total fee. (See also question nr. 5 of this section for more information about Turbo fast jobs).
MrTurbo's terms dictate that payment is required within 2 weeks of the date of all invoices.
Any unpaid money can eventually, after remembering you more then once of open invoices,
result in your site being (temporarily) offline or your project will not be released to
you until payment has been received in full.
No, Mr Turbo tries to keep the (administration) cost for the hosting and domain registration as low as possible.
The price as it is would not be possible with monthly payments.
If you want to end your hosting and/or domain registration you need to notify MrTurbo by email or letter at least a month and a half
before the renewal date of your hosting packages / domain registration.
MrTurbo can help you Turbo fast in case of need! For Turbo fast jobs there is an addition cost of 50% over the standard fee.
A Turbo fast job order is any custom order need in less than ten business days but of course in some cases it can be even faster,
depending on :
• Your wishes
• How fast I receive the signed contract back
• Amount of adjustments during the project
• The amount of projects that are already scheduled
Please take in mind that Mr Turbo can not speed up the process of getting a domain registered and pointed to the
website's location. If you want website online a.s.a.p. this will be one of the first things to arrange.
